Song of Solomon Chapter 3
The bride searches the city by night for her beloved and finds Solomon's royal bed.
Picking up from the spring imagery of Song of Solomon 2, the bride now searches the city by night for the one her soul loves, questioned by the watchmen before she finds him and holds him fast. Read the full King James text below.
我夜間 躺臥在 床上，尋找 我心 所愛的；我尋找他，卻尋 不見。
我說：我要起來，遊行 城中，在街市上，在寬闊處，尋找 我心 所愛的。我尋找他，卻尋 不見。
城中 巡邏 看守的人 遇見我；我問他們：你們看見 我心 所愛的沒有？
我剛 離開 他們 就 遇見 我心 所愛的。我拉住他，不 容他走， 領他 入 我母 家，到 懷我者 的內室。
耶路撒冷 的眾女子啊，我指著羚羊 或 田野 的母鹿 囑咐 你們：不要 驚動、不要 叫醒 我所親愛的，等 他自己情願（不要叫醒……情願：或譯不要激動愛情，等它自發）。
那 從 曠野 上來、形狀如煙 柱、以沒藥 和乳香 並商人 各樣 香粉 薰的 是誰呢？
看哪，是所羅門 的轎； 四圍 有六十個 勇士，都是以色列 中的勇士；
手都 持 刀，善於 爭戰， 腰間 佩刀，防備夜間 有驚慌。
所羅門 王 用黎巴嫩 木 為自己 製造 一乘華轎。
轎柱 是用銀 做的，轎底 是用金做的；坐墊 是紫色的，其中 所鋪的 乃耶路撒冷 眾女子 的愛情。
錫安 的眾女子啊，你們出去 觀看 所羅門 王！頭戴冠冕，就是在他婚筵 的日子、心中 喜樂 的時候，他母親 給他 戴上的。
