Psalms 82 – Defend the Poor and Fatherless
God judges unjust rulers and calls for justice for the powerless.
This chapter of the Psalms overview pictures God standing in judgment over corrupt rulers, addressed as "gods" because of their authority, following the warning about unheeded instruction in Psalms 81.
（亞薩的 詩。） 神 站在 有權力者 的會中，在諸神 中 行審判，
說：你們審判 不秉公義，徇 惡人 的情面，要到 幾時呢？（細拉）
你們當為貧寒的人 和孤兒 伸冤；當為困苦 和窮乏的人 施行公義。
當保護 貧寒 和窮乏的人，救 他們脫離惡人 的手。
你們仍不 知道，也不 明白，在黑暗中 走來走去；地 的根基 都 搖動了。
我 曾說：你們 是神，都是 至高者 的兒子。
然而，你們要死，與世人一樣，要仆倒，像王子 中的一位。
神啊，求你起來 審判 世界，因為 你要 得萬 邦 為業。
