Psalms 4: Trusting God Before Sleep
A quiet evening plea to trust the LORD over vanity.
Following the morning confidence of Psalms 3, this chapter is David's evening counterpart, asking God to hear his prayer and challenging others who chase vanity and lies instead of righteousness. He urges his hearers to be still, offer right sacrifices, and put their trust in the LORD.
（大衛的 詩，交與伶長。用絲弦的樂器。）顯我為義的 神啊，我呼籲的時候，求你應允我！我在困苦中，你曾使我寬廣；現在求你憐恤 我，聽 我的禱告！
你們這上流人哪，你們將我的尊榮 變為羞辱 要到 幾時呢？你們喜愛 虛妄，尋找 虛假，要到幾時呢？（細拉）
你們要知道， 耶和華 已經分別 虔誠人 歸他自己；我求告耶和華，他 必聽我。
你們應當畏懼，不可 犯罪；在 床上的時候，要心裡 思想，並要肅靜。（細拉）
當獻上 公義 的祭，又當倚靠 耶和華。
有許多人 說：誰 能指示我們 甚麼好處？耶和華啊，求你仰起 臉來，光照 我們。
你使 我心裡 快樂，勝過 那豐收 五穀 新酒的人。
我必 安然 躺下 睡覺，因為 獨有 你─耶和華 使我安然 居住。
