Psalms 20: Trusting the Name of the LORD
The people ask God to grant victory to their anointed king.
Following the personal praise of Psalms 19, this chapter is a communal prayer offered on behalf of the king, asking the LORD to hear him in the day of trouble and remember his offerings and sacrifices before battle.
（大衛的 詩，交與伶長。）願耶和華 在你遭難 的日子 應允你；願名 為雅各 神 的高舉你。
願他從聖所 救助你，從錫安 堅固你，
記念 你的一切 供獻，悅納 你的燔祭，（細拉）
將你心所願的 賜 給你，成就 你的一切 籌算。
我們要因你的救恩 誇勝，要奉我們 神 的名 豎立旌旗。願耶和華 成就 你一切 所求的！
現在 我知道 耶和華 救護 他的受膏者，必從他的聖 天 上應允他，用右手 的能力 救護他。
有人 靠車，有人 靠馬，但我們 要提到 耶和華─我們 神 的名。
他們 都屈身 仆倒，我們 卻起來，立得正直。
求耶和華 施行拯救；我們呼求 的時候，願王 應允我們！
