Think Quotes
Quotes that share what people really think.
Many quotes here open with a direct 'I think,' offering personal beliefs - some lighthearted, like using comedy as a defense, others sobering, including grim predictions about where humanity is headed. A few weigh in on cryptography and the future of communication, a subject also touched on in Life Quotes.

Just speaking for myself, I think the return of people to the Moon has a lot to offer for understanding the formation and evolution of terrestrial worlds; so would the exploration of near-Earth asteroids by people.

I think if you were between maybe 6 and 16, there was nothing like Apollo, and I wonder if there can be something like that again. We'll just have to see.

My kids are all pretty big and tough and strong, and I don't worry about them being bullied - the reverse, be kind to people and don't ever be a bully yourself, and I think they've followed that.

People talk about, 'Well, why don't they bring 'Growing Pains' back?' No, it belongs in the time capsule exactly where it was. It would probably look corny and dated if they tried to redo that. But I think, for its time, it was meaningful.

I think I once went three or four years without doing a play, and I almost lost my mind, then I came back and did 'Spamalot.'

My father was placid and easygoing. He owned a small shoe store where I helped out on Saturdays. I think he'd have been pleased if I'd made a career of working in the shoe store. But my mother was ambitious. She encouraged us to read books, and she pushed us toward a musical education.
