Remember Quotes
What stays with us, in the words of those who lived it.
These quotes revolve around memory in different forms: the fading magic of a childhood holiday, the messy notes an idea leaves behind, and a specific recollection tied to a major public demonstration decades ago. For more reflections on time passing and looking back, see Day quotes.

I was grabbing a coffee somewhere and looking at 'Backstage' and saw that there was an audition for another project going on at the same time. It was called 'Almost Heaven: The Songs of John Denver.'

That's the way I got along in life. I don't ever remember being particularly jealous of anybody, because I figured if I can't do it myself, I don't deserve to get it.
