Psalm 150 – Praise Him With Trumpet, Harp, and Cymbals
The final psalm calls every instrument and every living thing to praise the LORD.
Psalm 150, the closing doxology of the Psalter, follows Psalms 149 by calling worshippers to praise God with trumpet, psaltery, harp, timbrel, and cymbals.
The title of the hundrid and fiftithe salm. Alleluya. Herie ye the Lord in hise seyntis; herie ye hym in the firmament of his vertu.
Herie ye hym in hise vertues; herie ye hym bi the multitude of his greetnesse.
Herie ye hym in the soun of trumpe; herie ye hym in a sautre and harpe.
Herie ye hym in a tympane and queer; herie ye hym in strengis and orgun.
Herie ye hym in cymbalis sownynge wel, herye ye hym in cymbalis of iubilacioun;
ech spirit, herye the Lord.
