Psalm 46: Be Still, and Know That I Am God
God as an ever-present refuge amid earthquakes, roaring seas, and raging nations.
Psalm 46 opens with the declaration that God is 'our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble,' the core promise explored at Psalms 46:1. Even if mountains are carried into the sea and waters roar, the psalmist says there is no cause for fear.
To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
