Psalms 134
The Psalter's shortest call to bless the Lord at night.
Psalm 134 is the final and shortest of the songs of ascent, calling on the servants "which by night stand in the house of the LORD" to lift their hands in the sanctuary and bless Him. It closes the sequence begun many chapters earlier, following directly after Psalms 133's picture of unity.
A Song of Ascents. Look! Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the Lord 's house!
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary. Praise the Lord!
May the Lord bless you from Zion; even he who made heaven and earth.
