Psalms 63 – My Soul Thirsteth for Thee
David's longing for God in a dry and weary wilderness.
Written while David was in the wilderness, this chapter (see the Psalms overview) opens with one of Scripture's most vivid pictures of longing: a soul thirsting for God like parched ground thirsts for water. From that image David moves to praise, blessing God with lifted hands and a satisfied heart.

我在聖所中 曾如此 瞻仰你，為要見 你的能力 和你的榮耀。
因 你的慈愛 比生命 更好，我的嘴唇 要頌讚你。
我還活的時候 要這樣 稱頌你；我要奉你的名 舉 手。
我在 床 上記念你，在夜更的時候 思想 你；我的心 就像 飽足了 骨髓 肥油，我也要以歡樂 的嘴 唇 讚美你。
