Psalm 53: The Fool Hath Said, There Is No God
A short psalm on universal corruption and the longed-for salvation of Israel.
Psalm 53 opens with the blunt line, 'The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God,' describing people as corrupt and abominable in their iniquity. It largely parallels Psalm 14, and follows the olive-tree confidence of Psalms 52.

神 從天上 垂看 世人，要看 有 明白的沒有？有尋求他的沒有？
他們各人都 退後，一同 變為污穢；並沒有 行 善的，連 一個 也沒有。
作 孽 的沒有 知識嗎？他們吞吃 我的百姓 如同吃 飯一樣，並不 求告 神。
他們在無 可 懼怕 之處 就大大害怕，因為 神 把那安營攻擊你之人 的骨頭 散開了。你使他們蒙羞，因為 神 棄絕了他們。
但願 以色列 的救恩 從錫安而出。 神 救回 他被擄的 子民那時，雅各 要快樂，以色列 要歡喜。
