Psalm 149 – Praise With Dance and a Two-Edged Sword
Israel is called to joyful worship and to carry out God's judgment among the nations.
Psalm 149 calls Israel to sing a new song and rejoice in their King with dancing and timbrel, following the creation-wide praise of Psalms 148.
你們要讚美 耶和華！向耶和華 唱 新 歌，在聖民 的會中 讚美他！
願以色列 因造他的主 歡喜！願錫安 的民 因他們的王 快樂！
願他們跳舞 讚美 他的名，擊鼓 彈琴 歌頌 他！
因為 耶和華 喜愛 他的百姓；他要用救恩 當作謙卑人 的妝飾。
願聖民 因所得的榮耀 高興！願他們在 床 上歡呼！
願他們口中稱讚 神 為高，手裡 有兩刃 的刀，
為要 報復 列邦，刑罰 萬民。
要用鍊子 捆 他們的君王，用鐵 鐐 鎖他們的大臣；
要在他們身上 施行 所記錄的 審判。 他的聖民 都有這 榮耀。你們要讚美 耶和華！
