Malachi Chapter 4
The Old Testament closes with a burning judgment, a healing sunrise, and the promised return of Elijah.
Malachi 4, the Old Testament's closing chapter, contrasts a burning day of judgment for the proud and wicked with the healing rise of the Sun of righteousness for those who fear the LORD's name. It concludes the tithing and refining themes raised in Malachi 3.
萬軍 之耶和華 說：「 那日 臨近，勢如燒著的 火爐，凡 狂傲的 和 行 惡 的必 如碎秸，在那日 必被燒盡， 根本 枝條 一無 存留。
但向你們 敬畏 我名 的人必有公義 的日頭 出現，其光線（原文是翅膀）有醫治之能。你們必出來 跳躍 如圈 裡的肥犢。
你們必踐踏 惡人；在我 所 定 的日子， 他們必 如灰塵 在你們腳 掌 之下。這是萬軍 之耶和華 說的。
「你們當記念 我僕人 摩西 的律法，就是 我在何烈山 為 以色列 眾人 所吩咐 他 的律例 典章。
「看哪，耶和華 大 而可畏 之日 未到 以前，我 必差遣 先知 以利亞 到你們那裡去。
他必使父親 的心 轉 向 兒女，兒女 的心 轉向 父親，免得 我來 咒詛 遍地。」
