Job Chapter 26
Job turns from sarcasm to awe, painting God's power over creation.
Job opens by mocking his friends' unhelpful counsel, then shifts to a sweeping picture of divine power: God hangs the earth on nothing and stretches the north over empty space. Compare his answer with Bildad's words in Job 25.
約伯 回答 說：
無 能 的人蒙你何等 的幫助！膀臂 無 力 的人蒙你何等的拯救！
無 智慧 的人蒙你何等 的指教！你向他多 顯 大知識！
你向 誰 發出 言語來？誰 的靈 從你 而出？
在大水 和水族 以下 的陰魂 戰兢。
在 神面前，陰間 顯露；滅亡 也不得 遮掩。
神將北極 鋪 在 空中，將大地 懸 在 虛空；
將水 包 在密雲中，雲 卻不 破裂；
遮蔽 他的寶座，將雲 鋪 在其上；
在 水 面 的周圍 劃出界限，直到 光明 黑暗 的交界。
天 的柱子 因他的斥責 震動 驚奇。
他以能力 攪動（或譯：平靜）大海；他藉知識 打傷 拉哈伯，
藉他的靈 使天 有妝飾；他的手 刺殺 快 蛇。
看哪，這不過是 神工作 的些微；我們所聽 於他 的是何等 細微的 聲音！他大能的 雷聲 誰 能明透呢？
