2 Chronicles 27 - Jotham's Steady Reign
A king learns from his father's downfall and stays out of the temple's holy place.
Taking the throne after the leprosy and death of his father in 2 Chronicles 26, Jotham does what is right in the LORD's sight but is careful, unlike Uzziah, never to enter the temple itself.
約坦 登基 的時候年 二十 五 歲，在耶路撒冷 作王 十 六 年，他母親 名叫 耶路沙，是撒督 的女兒。
約坦行 耶和華 眼中 看為正的事，效法他父 烏西雅 一切 所 行的，只是 不 入 耶和華 的殿。百姓 還 行邪僻的事。
約坦 建立 耶和華 殿 的上 門，在俄斐勒 城 上多有 建造，
又在猶大 山地 建造 城邑，在樹林 中建築 營寨 和高樓。
約坦 與 亞捫人 的王 打仗 勝了 他們，當 年 他們 進貢 銀 一百 他連得，小麥 一萬 歌珥，大麥 一萬歌珥； 第二 年、第三 年也是 這樣。
約坦 在耶和華─他 神 面前 行 正道，以致日漸強盛。
約坦 其餘 的事 和一切 爭戰，並他的行為，都 寫 在 以色列 和猶大 列王 記上。
他登基 的時候年 二十 五 歲，在耶路撒冷 作王 十 六 年。
約坦 與 他列祖 同睡，葬 在大衛 城裡。他兒子 亞哈斯 接續他 作王。
