Anything Quotes
Sometimes anything is exactly nothing.
These quotes use the word "anything" to mark limits or surprises - a pitch with no real movement behind it, a contract that blocks further work, and total unfamiliarity with a story someone assumed was common knowledge. Related reading in About Quotes.

I didn't know anything about '12 Years a Slave.' Not the book, not Solomon Northup, which I was quite shocked by, once I'd read it, that it wasn't a seminal text. I think it deserves to be.

I've always favored kids as a player. If I walked out of the locker room and there were 100 people there and 50 of them were kids, I'd sign the 50 kids before anything else.
